Doubt can be a powerful thing, but also a lonely one. It certainly felt like so during the 5 days trekking in the Annapurna range that lead to that photograph, with each step marked by self-doubt, limited views and cold solitude. I needed a change. As night and early morning side treks often are a personal favorite (purposeful and rewarding), I tried my luck. And that dawn didn't disappoint. The guiding light illuminating the path ahead and the open valley - finally - felt like a silent promise, a sign that the hardest miles were now behind.
